Annual Mega Eye camp by Dera Sacha Sauda

Humanity is all about serving our fellow beings selflessly. This can be done in various ways, and just one of these ways is providing free medical services to the poor people, for they are generally not in a condition to support themselves or their families. One such kind and noble initiative has been undertaken by Dera Sacha Sauda, wherein every year a Mega Eye camp is held on 13th, 14th and 15th of December. This camp was initiated by Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh ji Insaan in the everlasting memory of the worldly voyage of Param Pita Shah Satnam ji Maharaj, the second Guruji of Dera Sacha Sauda. The camp takes care of cataract and other eye diseases and conducts operations to cure the same. This is done free of cost for all the patients, and accommodation, food and medicines are also provided to them without any charges. Doctors from all over the country participate voluntarily to provide their services in such a great mission.

This is one of the few ‘Small incision cataract surgery’ Mega Eye Camps internationally. Dera Sacha Sauda has always worked for these causes and will keep on doing so in future as well for the welfare of the whole society.Saint Gumeet Ram Rahim singh ji Insaan is really great, who has devoted his whole life for these noble deeds and has inspired every human being to serve the society. There are no words that can thank him or can express our gratitude for his magnanimity.

Blood Donation Drive by Dera Sacha Sauda Followers in Bangalore

13th of May, Sunday, witnessed another successful blood donation drive(in Bangalore) as an attempt to help people, who suffer because of unavalaibility of blood.
This blood donation camp was conducted by followers of Dera Sacha Sauda organisation (Haryana) at NIMHANS hospital, Bangalore. In Dera Sacha Sauda, people are encouraged to donate blood, because such a simple effort can go a long way in saving hundreds of lives. 40 units of blood was donated as a part of this drive. The followers, who donated blood work in different MNCs like Infosys, SAP Labs, Accenture, Oracle, Kotak etc., and included businessmen, doctors, house wives and students as well. Dera Sacha Sauda already has a Guiness Record for donating the maximum number of blood units i.e 17,921 in 12 hours.

It is really praiseworthy and touching to see that even today there are organisations which inspire people to do such noble deeds. I am sure this will continue in future as well with the drive attracting more number of volunteers and hence helping more number of needy people.
